Short film review: Shelf Life

Shelf Life was a short film made in 2000. It is where a man in his bedroom prepares to put up some shelves on his wall. whilst preparing he looks at 2 awards for health and safety which is ironic later in the film. Then he starts to drill into the wall and as he does it cuts to the other side of the wall where he has drilled into a man's skull and killed him and continues to drill unaware of what he has just done. This is an unexpected twist which the audience will not expect and will enjoy the film even more. This film is linked to my practical work because it looks at the ordinary life of a person. Which I can use to help research and use as an example of videos i have viewed before i started my filming. However,, unlike this film there wont be a surprise twist in my piece of practical.
